This superb filmcell features the legendary Northern Irish footballer, George Best.
George Best was a Northern Irish international. He was best known for his years playing for Manchester United. As a winger, his game had combined pace, acceleration, balance, two footedness, goalscoring and the ability to beat defenders. In 1968, his “annus mirabilis“, he had won the European Cup with Manchester United and was named the European Footballer of the Year. When fit, he had been made an automatic choice for the Northern Ireland team. After Manchester United, he had a spell playing for three different clubs in the US. Best also had a resurgence of form in the 1976-77 season when he returned to England to play for Fulham.
