Description

A film crew headed by anthropologist Steve Cale (Stoltz) and director, Terri Flores (Lopez) journey through a river. They are searching for a mysterious Indian tribe to shoot a documentary about them. They save a guy called Paul Sarone (Voight) from a sinking boat. Sarone then offers to help in their search for the tribe. He is actually a snake hunter who is looking for the legendary anaconda snake. Cale gets bitten by a tropical insect and Sarone takes over the boat.
