In Accepted, Bartleby Gaines (Long) is rejected from every college he applys to. He decides to fool his parents and with help from his friends he creates  a fictitious university, South Harmon Institute of Technology. Their deception works too well and every other college rejects starts to apply to his school.  Bartleby must find a way to give the education and future his students and friends deserves, including his own. Meanwhile, he is trying to win the heart of the girl next door.
