Borat Sagdiyev (Cohen) is a TV reporter for a popular show in Kazakhstan. His government sends him from his home to America in order to make a documentary about American society and culture. He then takes a course in New York City to understand American humor. While watching Baywatch on TV, he discovers how beautiful their women are. He especially notices C. J. Parker (Anderson) who hails from Malibu, California. He then decides he must go to California. This is in a quest to make her his wife and take her back to his country. On his journey, Borat and his producer encounter a country full of strange and wonderful Americans. It involves real people in real chaotic situations that end with hysterical consequences!
