In Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy (Swanson) is an air-head cheerleader. She is chosen by a guy named Merrick (Sutherland) to fend off the world of Vampires. When Merrick first informs Buffy that she is the “chosen one,” she thinks he’s crazy. Then strange things begin to happen! Buffy’s friend, Cassandra, and many other kids from her school turn up missing and are later found “dead” with bite marks on their necks. After many other strange occurrences, Buffy will discover that those bite marks were made by vampires. Buffy comes to the horrifying truth. She realises that she really is the “chosen one.”
