Once Upon a Time in Mexico is the third movie of Rodriguez’s, Mariachi trilogy. The Mexican president has declared war on the Barillo drug cartel. Agent Sands (Depp) of the CIA is in the middle of it all and forces the notorious hit man for hire El Mariachi (Banderas) out of retirement. El Mariachi, after the death of his wife and daughter years earlier, no longer wishes to fight, but he may not have a choice. A trap has been set up for the President. El Mariachi calls upon his two brothers for the final showdown. Who will remain standing at the end?
