Description
This superb filmcell features Peter Sellars, the legendary English actor and comedian. Sellers had performed in the BBC Radio comedy series The Goon Show. He later became known worldwide through his many film characterisations, among them, Inspector Clouseau in The Pink Panther.
Peter Sellers began acting in the 1950s, his comedy would parody characters of authority such as military officers or policemen. His films included; I’m All Right Jack (1959), Lolita (1962), Dr. Strangelove (1964), What’s New, Pussycat? (1965), Casino Royale (1967), The Party (1968), Being There (1979) and the five Pink Panther film series (1963–78). Having won Oscar and Golden Globe awards, Turner Classic Movies named him “one of the most accomplished comic actors of the late 20th century”.
