Description

This superb filmcell features the Oscar winning classic western, Shane (1953). Stars Alan Ladd, Jean Arthur, Van Heflin, Jack Palance, Ben Johnson, Emile Meyer and Brandon De Wilde.

Shane (Ladd) rides into a conflict between cattleman Ryker (Meyer) and a bunch of settlers, like the Starretts, whose land Ryker wants. When he beats up Ryker’s man, Chris (Johnson), Ryker tries to buy him. Along with his friend, Joe (Heflin) they then take on the whole Ryker crew. Ryker sends to Cheyenne for truly evil gunslinger Wilson (Palance). We wonder about his relation to Joe’s wife Marian (Arthur). He must also clear all the guns from the valley before he can ride off with Joe’s son, Joey (De Wilde) hollering “Shane, Come Back!”
