The Beatles band members were; John Lennon (lead guitar and vocals), Paul McCartney (bass guitar and vocals), George Harrison (rhythm guitar) and Ringo Starr (drums). They were known to their millions of fans worldwide as The Fab Four. Having revolutionised rock music throughout the 1960s with their unique style, they became one of the symbols of that decade. The Beatles are recognised as one of history’s most popular and best selling band’s. They have since earned the status of cultural icons of the late 20th Century.
