In The Cannonball Run, J.J. McClure (Reynolds) is an adventurer who decides to participate in an illegal car race which goes all over the country. There is an all star cast of racers which includes Roger Moore as Seymour, Farah Fawcett as Pamela, Dean Martin as Jamie Blake, Jackie Chan as Subaru Driver #1 and  Sammy Davis Jr. as Fenderbaum. These racers will do anything to outrun difficulties in order to win the race and that includes the police!
