This superb filmcell features the documentary movie, The Further Adventures of Laurel and Hardy (1967). The film is a compilation by director Robert Youngson.
The movie looks at the rise to comedy greatness of the world’s favourite comedy duo. It is set during the period before they entered the talkies and it includes examples of the duo’s solo work. Featured is an early Stan Laurel one-reeler, Just Rambling Along (1918) and three Billy West shorts shot from 1917-18 that Oliver Hardy appeared in. These shorts are The Villain, The Hobo and His Day Out.
