In the Inbetweeners, Simon (Thomas) is pining for his girlfriend. His three best mates, Will (Bird), Jay (Buckley) and Neil (Harrison) decide to take him on vacation. There is sun, sand and girls in a popular British resort in Crete. Jay, with inheritance money, believes he can pick any girl. Neil has to decide what constitutes not cheating on his girlfriend. Will wants to add a bit of culture into the vacation and Simon is still pining. Things pick up when they meet fellow Brits; Alison, Lucy, Jane and Lisa. Will makes Alison laugh but she is out of his league. Jay is ashamed to be seen with a self-assured overweight Jane. Neil treats Lisa like any other female with whom he wants to have sex and Simon may not see that Lucy really does like him. Meanwhile the guys try to get tickets for the all-day boat cruise where they believe all their dreams will come true.
