The Legend of Zorro sees Zorro (Banderas) continue his fight against evil-doers. This time it is with the help of his beautiful wife, Elena (Zeta-Jones) and their precocious young son, Joaquin (Alonso). Alejandro De LaVega is torn between his life as Zorro and his life as a family man. After Alejandro once again breaks his promise to stop wearing the mask, Elena leaves him.  She soon begins to see Armand (Sewell) who is a haughty French Count. A mysterious explosion in the desert leads Zorro to believe that there is more to Armand than meets the eye. Little does he know, that there are others working to uncover certain truths as well.
