Description

This superb filmcell features the three times Oscar winning movie, The Towering Inferno (1974). Stars Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, William Holden and Faye Dunaway.

In Towering Inferno, Doug Roberts (Newman) plays an architect. He has just returned from a long vacation to find that work has nearly been completed on his skyscraper. Roberts goes to a party that night although he is concerned. He has found that his wiring specifications have not been followed and that the building continues to develop short circuits. When a fire starts, Michael O’Halleran (McQueen) is the chief on duty. A series of daring rescues punctuate the terror of a building that is to tall to have a fire successfully fought from the ground.
