Description

This superb filmcell features the classic American Western TV series, The Virginian 1962-1991. The cast included; James Drury, Doug McClure, Lee J. Cobb, Sara Lane and Clu Gulagar.

The Virginian is set on The Shiloh Ranch, in 1890’s Wyoming Territory. It is initially owned by Judge Henry Garth (Cobb) but the ranch then passes a sequence of ownership. The Virginian (Drury) is the tough foreman of the ranch. A variety of the stories are about him and his top hand, Trampas (McClure). Unlike most action Westerns, many of these stories were based on characters and relationships.
