Kevin Flynn (Bridges) is a hacker and an arcade owner. He is digitally broken down into a data stream by a villainous software pirate who is known as, Master Control (Warner). Flynn reconstitutes into an internal, 3-D graphical computer world. It is there in the ultimate blazingly colorful, geometrically intense landscapes of cyberspace, that Flynn joins forces with Tron (Boxleitner). They are to outmaneuver the Master Control Program. This program is holding them captive in the equivalent of a gigantic, infinitely challenging computer game.
