In Who’s That Girl, Manhattan lawyer, Louden Trott (Dunne) is about to marry his tycoon boss, Simon Worthington’s (McMartin) spoilt daughter. That is albeit with a crushing prenuptial. Simon makes him interrupt the preparations. A nobody called Nikki Finn (Madonna) has just been released from a New York jail. He wants to make sure she will take the bus to meet her Philadelphia parole officer. Picking up a rare mountain lion for a Montgomery Bell (Mills) is bad enough, but Nikki also takes the cake when it comes to provoking and surprising. Furthermore they are tailed by a couple of criminal goons. A pair of bickering police detectives are also tailing them. They are after the key evidence that Nikki claims will prove she had been framed by the corrupt Worthington.
