Description

This superb filmcell features the five times Oscar winning movie, Oliver (1968). Stars Mark Lester, Ron Moody, Shani Wallis, Oliver Reed and Jack Wild.

A musical which is based on the Charles Dickens novel. Oliver Twist (Lester) is sold to a Dunstable undertaker after asking for more dinner at his orphanage. Escaping to London he is taken in by Fagin (Moody). He then joins his gang of child pickpockets which includes the Artful Dodger (Wild). Wrongly accused of a theft he meets a more kindly gentleman who takes him in. This concerns one of Fagin’s old pupils, the violent Bill Sykes (Reed). In the middle is Nancy (Wallis), Sykes’ girl whom he has come to trust.
