Marty McFly (Fox) is a typical American teenager of the Eighties. He is accidentally sent back to 1955 in a plutonium powered DeLorean “time machine”. This was invented by the slightly mad scientist, Dr. Emmett Brown (Lloyd). During his often hysterical and always amazing trip back in time, Marty must make certain that his teenage parents-to-be will meet and therefore fall in love. This is so he can get back to the future.
