Description

This superb filmcell features the movie, Black and White (1999). Stars Robert Downey Jr., Allan Houston, Claudia Schiffer, Brooke Shields, Oliver ‘Power’ Grant and Ben Stiller.

Set in New York City. Black and White features several loosely related stories which centre on a pair of documentary filmmakers. Sam (Shields) and her husband Terry (Downey Jr.) follow a group of caucasian teens who try to fit in with Harlem’s black hip-hop crowd. They include gangster rapper Rich Bower (Grant) and his music partner who land a recording gig. There is also the college basketball player, Dean (Houston). He is conflicted about taking a fall on a game for the shady gambler, Mark Clear (Stiller) who has a hidden agenda.
