Description
This superb filmcell features Buster Keaton. The legendary American actor who was best known for his silent films. Keaton’s trademark was physical comedy with a consistently stoic, deadpan expression which had earned him the nickname “The Great Stone Face”.
In 1999 the American Film Institute had ranked Buster Keaton the 21st greatest male star. After much success in the 1920s his career declined in the 1930s. Keaton recovered in the 1940s and earned an Academy Honorary Award in 1958. A 2002 worldwide poll by Sight & Sound ranked Keaton’s The General as the 15th best film of all time. Three other Keaton films received votes in the magazine’s survey. These were; Our Hospitality (1923), Sherlock Jr (1924) and The Navigator (1924).
This is a Limited Edition Film Cell of just 1000 pieces and comes with a Numbered plaque.
