Description
This superb filmcell features the Anerican iconic dance partners Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. The pair had made motion pictures together from 1933–1949.
Nine of the classic dance movies Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers made during the 1930s included; Top Hat, Swing Time, The Gay Divorcee and Shall We Dance. In 1949, Astaire and Rogers had reunited. This was after ten years apart making their only MGM colour movie, The Barkleys of Broadway. During production Astaire received an honorary Academy Award, which was presented to him by Ginger Rogers.
