This superb filmcell features the American actress, Katherine Hepburn. Known for her fierce independence and spirited personality, she was a leading lady in Hollywood for more than 60 years. In 1999 Hepburn was named by the American Film Institute as the greatest female star in Hollywood history.
Katherine Hepburn received her first Oscar in the film, Morning Glory (1933). She later found a niche playing middle-aged spinsters and her persona in The African Queen (1951), was embraced by the public. Three more Oscars included; Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (1967), The Lion in Winter (1968) and On Golden Pond (1981). In the 1970’s she began appearing in television films. She made her final screen appearance in 1994 at the age of 87.
