Description
This superb filmcell features director Norman Jewison’s three times Oscar winning movie, Fiddler on the Roof (1971). Stars; Topol, Norma Crane, Rosalind Harris, Michele Marsh, Paul Michael Glaser, and Neva Small.
Fiddler on the Roof is set in a little village called Anatevka in pre-revolutionary Russia. A poor Jewish peasant called Reb Tevye (Topol) works as a milkman. He has traditional values and has been married for twenty-five years to Golde (Crane). Reb has to contend with marrying off three of his five daughters; Tzeitel (Harris), Hodel (Marsh) and Chava (Small). They all have modern romantic ideals. Problems with his daughters arise and this happens whilst growing anti Semitic sentiment is also threatening his village.
