Description

Jesus Christ Superstar is based on a concept album project written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. There was also a subsequent long running Broadway performance. The film tells the story of the final six days in the life of Jesus Christ (Neeley). This is seen through the troubled eyes of Judas Iscariot (Anderson). The film is a Rock Opera, every line is sung and it is without any spoken words.
